Rhydian has over 20 years experience working in the post-16 education sector, including at secondary education, further education and adult community learning in the fields of Digital Literacy & Learning, Essential Skills, Engineering and ICT as a Practitioner, Coordinator and Manager.
As our Digital Development Manager, in addition to his responsibilities for digital learning and collaboration platforms, Rhydian has a remit for the development of digitally innovative, inclusive, collaborative and smart working practices. Rhydian actively participates in several Welsh Government steering groups, notably the Digital Strategic Vision group. He has contributed significantly to the development of the Digital 2030 framework for the post-16 sector, the creation of Digital Standards for post-16 practitioners in Wales, and in research and testing of the HWB platform for post-16 education.
Rhydian has previously participated in a successful Erasmus EDGE Open Badge & E-Portfolio project, collaborating with international partners from Greece, Austria, Portugal and Ireland, demonstrating his valued input as an experienced educational & innovative technologist, on the international stage.
Rhydian has led the team that is responsible for the Project logo, website and 3D gallery environment.
